Although they already are on their fifth edition, it seemed that it is still not too late to share BLAD with you, the release of the duo of Danish journalists signed by Louise Jacobsen and Liv Caroline Hotvedt Laursen, launched to combine their passion for written communication, image and… nature.
And that BLAD (plant in Swedish) is a biannual magazine that deals with the world of plants and gardening but has a high dose of aesthetic beauty: «We felt it was necessary to inspire people to be more interested in plants, «explains the duo to Wallpaper Magazine.
Number five of this publication focuses on the world of unwanted garden weeds and has a DIY tutorial on bricolage, cocktail recipes that can be made from underrated plants like stinging nettles plus a report dedicated to minimalist Japanese floral art, Ikebana.
As always, the publication is presented in a bilingual edition (Danish-English) and includes a centerfold, this time dedicated to these faulty weeds that from now on, will surely not be named as such.
BLAD is a publication that fills us with inspiration and reminds us that there is nothing more beautiful than nature. We know you’ll enjoy it a great deal!
