Welcome to Preventi Shoes. We Are Global Nomads

The Contemporary Beauty Essencials

John is Back!

John is Back! Under this headline, the Russian cosmetic firm L’Etoile announced that the next creative director would be John Galliano. So, as him, we also want to put aside the fashion and shoe world (for a second) and go deep into the beauty industry to introduce you the latest news of this sector. Take note!

The hairstyle is something very personal, as Jesús Hernández and Damien Duocorney (from the cosmetic boutique L’Adresse) say: “We look in her physiognomy, in her face, and the texture of her hair and we seek for something easy and comfortable in her everyday so she can wear a trend according to her.”

Still, if they have to choose for a trend, “Now it is a trend to have a mane of hair at the height of the shoulder, but maybe a little bit longer, with movement. It is a classic, because the woman is very reluctant when it comes to very short cuts, with few exceptions.” And New Look hairdressers are also dictating these. The New Curly trend is set up in the streets of the city of Barcelona. It is a mane of hair a little bit curled but with the characteristic of having three different lengths and three different curls. Without any doubt, it is the new version of the long bob inspired in the eighties.

When it comes to the products to have a perfect hair, L’Adresse bets on the Keratina with the aim of hydrating and nurturing the hair, giving volume and weight. After using a natural moisturizer shampoo (free of sulphates and parabens), the serum is also a must product. From Preventi, we want to recommend you a shampoo from Moroccan Oil which L’Adressé has most of its products.

But, if what you are looking for are bath oils, then Jo Malone is the perfect brand for it. Our favorite one is the Lime Brasil & Mandarin Bath Oil from the Citrus Bath Oils. And for the luxury lovers who care for their hair, Mask nº1 has launched a spa treatment to reinforce, regenerate and revitalize the hair without making it heavy.

Now, it is the turn for men. Even though it seems that the cosmetic world is focused only on women, there are more and more firms that are betting on the male sector.

Hernandez and Duocorney dictates us the perfect process to have a hair living up to a Global Nomad: “First they should use a specific moisturizer shampoo for him and after apply a little bit of serum. And lastly depending on how they want to brush their hair, we bet on the wax, if they want a dry effect; or styling gel, if they want a wet effect.”

When it comes to trends, the toupee or the Pompadour style are going to be the leaders of this season. It is a hairstyle with short hair on the sides and longer hair in the upper part, so it gives a feeling of the John Travolta style.

For the hair care, the men hair is always healthier than the women, because men cut their hair more often. Still, in Preventi we want to suggest you the basic care of La Praire.

We can’t close this article without a suggestion of fragrances. For him, Dior Homme, but this time the Intense version. It is a fragrance more intense and profound that will not let anyone indifferent. It has light notes of leather and vanilla.

And finally, for her. We bet on the new fragrance of the Swedish house Byredo, Flowerhead. It is, without any doubt, an ode to spring made up with Sicilian lemon touches, cranberries, wild jasmine, tuberose and rose petals.
