Geonick, the slow social network

¿Echas de menos esas épocas en las que los mensajes se escribían a mano, los sobres sólo los abría una persona y los mapas en papel definían el viaje? Si tu respuesta es sí, Geonick ofrece una red social que recupera esas y otras viejas prácticas.  Ideada por Pau Jené, ha sido diseñada para ofrecer un lugar de comunicación slow, en el que el ritmo de los intercambios y flujos de informaciónn lo marca el propio usuario.

Con alma nómada, para moverte por Geonick tienes que tener tu propio pasaporte, en el que indicarás tus intereses para conectar con viajeros afines. Sus creadores la han planteado como “un viaje en globo” y para moverte en ella lo haces encima de tu mapa personal. Con tu código postal podrás saber quiénes tienes cerca con inquietudes comunes. El objetivo de la geolocalización? Convertir algunas relaciones virtuales en reales.

Detás de Geonick hay también un claro compromiso para ofrecer un espacio lejos de la presión de Facebook y en el que no se comercia con datos personales.  ¿Listos para emprender el viaje?
