Global Nomads: Fabrizio Oriani

Fabrizio Oriani es un gentleman de los pies a la cabeza. Su estilo inconfundible y su esencia italiana han hecho que se convierta en una de las caras más visibles del streetstyle milanés. No se declara un apasionado de la moda pero sí de la elegancia; uno de los factores que le llevó a crear en 2012 Gentlemen’s Wear Daily, un portal de referencia sobre estilo masculino. Un año después, lo que empezó como un pequeño proyecto personal, se convirtió en uno de e-commerce más exclusivos de la red con una selección cuidada al detalle de ropa, zapatos y accesorios. Hablamos con Fabrizio Oriani, un Global Nomad nacido en Locco, arraigado a Milán y viviendo por todo el mundo.

Mis colores favoritos son… El azul, rojo y verde. Me gusta el sabor de… La casatta. Me siento como en casa… Con Charley. Nunca viajo sin… Mi música. Me gusta el olor de… La salinidad.

Lo mejor de estar en movimiento es… Mantenerse vivo. Soy director de desarrollo comercial porque… Me encanta crear una relación tanto dentro como fuera de la empresa ayudando para que IBM crezca.  La pieza de ropa más asombrosa con la que me he vestido ha sido… Un blazer de Lardini durante la última edición de MFW. La moda significa para mí… Vamos a hablar de estilo que es para mi un viaje largo, sinuoso e interesante con un destino desconocido. Un buen consejo para vestirse… Se tu mismo, se congruente, tómate las cosas con calma y no tengas miedo a experimentar.

Mi comida favorita es… El marisco, especialmente crudo. Siempre bailo cuando escucho a… Marvin Gaye. Envejecer significa para mí… Apreciar cada día la vida. La próxima ciudad que quisiera visitar es… Hong Kong o San Francisco.  Un buen consejo cuando preparas las maletas… Siempre olvido algo cuando las preparo. Creo que soy yo el que necesita buenos consejos. Un sueño… GWD (Gentlemen’s Wear Daily) Me ayuda a ser creativo… escuchar mi música.

Amor por… Charley Lo mejor de vivir en Milán es… Estar cerca de mi trabajo, mis amigos y descubrir la belleza de la ciudad cada día.  Mi lugar preferido para estar solo es… No tengo un lugar favorito. Cuando quiero estar solo pongo mi música. Una ciudad que te ha sorprendido últimamente es… Niza Una fuente de inspiración secreta… No tengo. Me inspiro en muchas cosas pero no son secretas. Ser un Global Nomad significa para mí… Aprender y intentar crecer como persona cada día.

The best of being in movement is… keeping it fresh I’m a business developer manager in IBM because… I love to build relationship both inside and outside the corporation, helping IBM business to grow. The most stunning pice of cloth I have ever put on… a Lardini regimental blazer I wore during the last MFW. Fashion means to me… let’s talk about style; that’s for me a long, winding and exciting  journey with unknown destination. Some good advice when you are dressing up… be yourself be consistent take it easy and don’t be afraid to experiment.
