Global Nomads Project: Ingrid Ribas

Ingrid Ribas es una Global Nomad, una fotoperiodista de mirada elegante, cuya mente inquieta y sus proyectos no entienden de límites geográficos.

Tras un periodo en Pamplona donde estudió periodismo, actualmente Ingrid se encuentra en Barcelona, preparando su próxima aventura en Latinoamérica. No hay duda, además de su cámara, Ingrid se llevará en la maleta un par de botas Preventi.

Hoy conocemos un poco más a Ingrid:

Mis colores favoritos son: El borgoña, el bistre, el verde veronés, el té verde y el gris antracita. Para qué simplificar ¿no?

Me gusta el olor de: El Pirineo Aragonés. Cuando era pequeña y dormitaba en el coche de camino al Valle de Benasque, lugar en el que desde siempre he veraneado, antes incluso de abrir bien los ojos bajaba la ventanilla del coche para respirar aire puro. Nada me hace sentir más viva que la naturaleza.

Nunca viajo sin: mi cámara, todo lo demás es prácticamente prescindible.

Me gusta el sabor: De la comida India.
Una app que utilizo como fotógrafo: BCN Cultural, aunque me quedo con Houzz, app de diseño y decoración.
La belleza es para mí: Un goce estético que, acompañado de un sentido, puede alejarnos de lo mundano y elevarnos.
El amor es: El único motor sostenible del mundo y el mejor de los regalos.
Un libro: Crimen y castigo
Una canción: Cosmic Love de Florence + The Machine
Un lugar: Anantapur, India.
Un sueño: No dejar jamás de aprender, poder contar historias y con ellas, dar lo mejor de mí a quien quiera recibirlo.

Fotografiar a las personas me convierte en: Un mediador entre la realidad y la permanencia.
Algo de la industria de la moda que me gustaría cambiar: Abogaría siempre por creaciones de calidad, más singulares, al margen de la producción masiva y de su lucro multinacional.

My favorite colors are: burgundy, bistre, Veronese green, green tea and charcoal gray.

I like the smell of:Aragon Pyrenees. When I was little and I was traveling, sleeping in the car on my way to Benasque Valley, where I’ve always vacationed, even before I could open my eyes, I lowered the car window to breath fresh air. Nothing makes me feel more alive than nature.

I never travel without: my camera, everything else is pretty expendable.

I like the taste: Indian food.

One app that I use as a photographer: BCN Cultural, although I prefer Houzz,  a design and decoration app.

Beauty means to me: an aesthetic pleasure that, accompanied by a sense, can get us away from the the world and elevate us.

Love is: The only sustainable engine of the world. And the best gift.

A book: Crime and Punishment

A song: Cosmic Love by Florence + The Machine

A place: Anantapur, India.

A dream: never stop learning, telling stories and with them, give my best to everyone who wants to receive them.

Photographing people makes me: A mediator between reality and permanence.

Something in the fashion industry that I would like to change: I always would advocate for quality creations, more unique, regardless of the mass production and its multinational profit.
