The nature of art

A few months ago we showed you in the blog ‘Riverbed‘, the last installation by Olafur Eliasson at the Museum of Louisiana. In it, Eliasson moved the river and its landscape until the crisp white walls of American art center. This time, the Norwegian artist Per Kristian Nygard has filled the the NoPlace gallery in Oslo with a large green landscape. Small hills full of grass that show us that the relationship between art and nature are consolidating in the contemporary scene. Titled ‘Not Red but Green‘, Nygard remains the same essence of the artist previous job creating an installation that, as himself said, it «make no sense». The work and his concept are asking us again the great artistic question: which is the nature of art?
