Looking the world from new perspectives

We have opened or closed doors as often as we breathe… But, have we given thought to what if there is a different way to do it? The great Austrian designer Klemens Torggler introduces a new alternative to the conventional hinge with his amazing “Evolution Door”. The video, which has become viral with the impressive suggestion, challenges the conventions to show that there is still a lot to be invented.

In Holland, Next Arquitects has installed a bridge that dares the notions of perspective. Inspired by the Möbius strip (a surface with only one side and one boundary component), the artistic installation pushes the law of gravity to the limit and suggests us with a false step. It seems that the bridge continues, but it forces us to turn back.

If you are not in the right place, the work of Felice Varini has no sense. His murals gain an amazing sense of aesthetic only from one point of view. This trap, which Varini plays with, is what is called anamorphosis and consists of creating the feeling of two-dimensionalism on one or different tridimensional objects. It’s something like a overlap without Photoshop.

Here are three examples of creativeness, which puts in evidence what is stretchable of the reality limits and how beautiful might sometimes be the interaction with the world.
