14th of February, Valentine’s Day, the lovers’ day. Maybe we are overwhelmed because they are forcing us to celebrate it. Since social network exists, it is surprising how intensifying it gets just a week away. But, at the same time, how could we deny to toast for love? So as it is usual here, in Preventi, we want to show you a little guide “Off the beaten track” to say to him or to her “I love you”.
1. Say it with flowers
Very recurring, but it never fails. You can give them to her but also to him. Many men love receiving flowers. In Vogue they have arranged with different florists bouquets of flowers inspired by paintings of Matisse, Cézanne or Van Gogh. A good inspiration to surprise in the morning with a knock in the door and an unexpected bouquet.
2. Say it with kisses
They are free and too often we forget them. The creative Thalia de Jong surprises with this make-up tutorial with Ellis Faas’ products. Radiant orchid, petal rose or passion red, it could be an interesting day to experiment with make-up.
3. Say it with words
Clare Vivier proposes her mini basic clutches with gold love messages to not to forget that you love him madly. Then buying bread, taking the make-up brush or the car keys, you’ll remember his whispering voice saying, “I adore you”.
4. Say it with food
Something ephemeral to share. An edible garland with small messages and vegan gummies. These are some of the ideas from the blog Oh Joy! One of our favorites. An easy and inexpensive idea that will need simply a little bit of time.
