There is no doubt that this year will be all about intelligent suits. Perfect pieces that adapt easily to the life in motion of the permanent travellers and the most important part is that these pieces don’t wrinkle. Our global nomad Álvaro González Alorda mentioned the new trend on Facebook at the beginning of July sharing one of his last discoveries, the “Hackett Travel Suit”, a suit that “doesn’t wrinkle even if you try really hard”.
Two months later Burberry has launched its own version of this discovery. The collection entitled “Travel Tailoring” made with “memory fabrics” and “motion canvas”, what in their own words means: “which follows the wearer movement while maintaining a sharply slim fit.” Elaborated with 100% Italian wool and fine Merino, they are elastic, yet structured.
It seems that now the perfect uniform for a global nomad is a perfectly fitted suit. Do you agree?
