It´s autumn so you men need to overhaul your look. And simply changing the colour of your socks can produce surprising and great results. So stop playing safe and think twice before you pull those boring black socks out of the drawer. If you don’t try, you´ll never know what you´re missing.
So here are some straightforward tips to get it right!
1. Choose socks the same colour or shade as your trousers. According to stylists, this is always a quite safe and a subtle way to continue a particular colour theme. If you can´t find the exact same shade as your trousers, try choosing a darker one.
2. Try matching your socks with your shoes. This is a bit more daring and means you have to be careful to make sure that the rest of the colours go well together.
3. Choose socks that match either your tie or your shirt. See photo below here, a choice of maroon socks would work really well with the tie in the photo.
4. If you´ve got what it takes and are confident in the knowledge that you always look good, then why not go for the look in the photo that opens today´s blog. You probably never wear boring black socks anyway!
** This Preventis shoe would look good with virtually any choice of sock.
** Mes Chaussettes Rouges, probably the best sock shop in the world. They do home delivery.
** “Le Marché aux Puces (San Fernando VI, 2 Madrid). The shop in Madrid where you can buy your favourite socks+Preventis, and… more cool things.
