Alternative life on the periphery of Europe, by Alex Strohl

To be happy Alex Strohl needs only his camera, his partner in life Andrea Dabene, and nature. And with blue as his favorite color because of the strong relationship with the lakes, only ten minutes away from his home in Vancouver, this Spaniard born in Madrid moved to Canada at the age of 19, and has chosen the career of adventure photographer. In the video that we introduce today, a production of  Creator Class directed by Liam Mitchell, you may learn more about this young man and his latest project: Alternative Living.

This is a book in which Strohl intended to immortalize the daily routines of those who have chosen as modus vivendi to live in remote places of older Europe. «The first goal of the book was to explain why; What led these people to sacrifice themselves in such a way? What made these people want to live in an alternative fashion and flounce away from conformism?»states Alex. «However, he continues, as the journey progressed the question seemed to turn inward and I ended up questioning myself: Why do I live as I do?'».

Lovers of nature and beauty, take a deep breath of air and unlatch your senses, because the grandness of the following images deserve your greatest attention. These are moments of alternative life in Europe.
